bet365, a trusted partner of BOC Agency and one of the world's largest global bookmakers, approached BOC to help leverage of a key sponsorship deal they have in place with the PDC (Professional Darts Corporation), who run the Premier League Darts. In a historical moment, the PDC was holding its first ever tournament in The U.S., and BOC was tasked with creating content around the event, to help heighten bet365's brand presence and further the connection as the main sponsor.
With support from the bet365 and PDC teams, BOC embedded key members of our team in New York for several days leading into the tournament and produced multiple pieces of content with some of the stars of the Premier League Darts as they embarked on this exciting moment. That included a feature piece on the only female player in the field in Fallon Sherrock, as well as a rare chance to get four of the absolute best in Gerwyn Price, Peter Wright, Michael van Gerwen& James Wade in a relaxed chat amongst themselves where the quartet chewed the fat around their Big Apple adventure, their career highlights and the state of the sport, as well as plenty in between.
Some 70 odd pieces of individual video assets were produced and delivered, with quick turnarounds, under tight timelines, whilst maintaining the highest quality production levels - all on the ground in New York with a boutique production team in a highly cost effective solution. The content generated more than 2.5 million views across bet365's global network of social media channels and deepened the ties between the brand, the PDC, and this monumental event for the sport.
